With two outs in the bottom of the 9th, a runner on third and Boston leading 6-5, Gomez (the Twin's stellar aquisition from the Mets) came to the plate to face Pappelbon, Boston's ace closer. Gomez won this great baseball match-up after battling through a full count to earn a walk to first. A few moments later, after Gomez stole second, with two strikes and a ball, Lamb dropped an easy hit over the third base line driving in both base runnners for a Twins dramatic 7-6 come-from-behind victory.It was a tough night to be a Boston fan, but a great game if you love the sport of baseball.
