If you glanced out the window at our feeder, you'd expect to see a few Chickadees, Juncos, Sparrows, and squirrels. This afternoon we saw these gals and another (not pictured). Our dogs were going nuts and I'm afraid our backyard will never be the same. But what a wonderful sight. The kids were delighted as were the parents. And to think, we we'll be visiting the St. Louis Zoo in the next few weeks... who needs Marlin Perkins when we have this in our back yard? Sunday, February 18, 2007
In Our Backyard Today
If you glanced out the window at our feeder, you'd expect to see a few Chickadees, Juncos, Sparrows, and squirrels. This afternoon we saw these gals and another (not pictured). Our dogs were going nuts and I'm afraid our backyard will never be the same. But what a wonderful sight. The kids were delighted as were the parents. And to think, we we'll be visiting the St. Louis Zoo in the next few weeks... who needs Marlin Perkins when we have this in our back yard?
