(From left) Big Dawg, Alana, Quinn, and The Peanut tackle the hill from this Taylor's back yard to the other Taylor's backyard.
With all due respect to Mr. Frost, these neighbors have no fences, and they seem to get along just fine.
It's all amusing... where friends, family and visitors get up-to-date news, information and comments from Padre, Sidetrack, Beaner, Peanut, Chalupa and Big Dawg. Go F*U*N or go home!

In Our Backyard Today
If you glanced out the window at our feeder, you'd expect to see a few Chickadees, Juncos, Sparrows, and squirrels. This afternoon we saw these gals and another (not pictured). Our dogs were going nuts and I'm afraid our backyard will never be the same. But what a wonderful sight. The kids were delighted as were the parents. And to think, we we'll be visiting the St. Louis Zoo in the next few weeks... who needs Marlin Perkins when we have this in our back yard?

More Hardware
Chalupa (second from Rt on lower row) and her teammates collect more hardware (trophies) after winning another basketball tournament. They've won four or five tournaments (I've lost count), and continue their dominance in the 4th grade level.
This is how Side Track and I split up our weekends. One goes with Chalupa to basketball, and the other mans the fort with Peanut, Beaner and Big Dawg.

Yep, It Can Get Colder
Yep -20 degrees! And if you look at the photo below, you'll notice a village of shacks (they look like dots, but take my word for it, they're shacks). Those would be ice fisherman in full force on this rather cool Februrary morning.
It looked like a scene straight from Grumpy Old Men, and NOW I realize what makes them so grumpy.

How Many Degree's Below Zero?
Yep, there is a deficit of 7 degrees which is registered in Buzz Daddy's expression. By tomorrow (02-03-07) this will be near the high temperature FOR THE DAY.
Ironically, a major report from a hugely commissioned global organization came forth today to confirm that Global warming (huh?) is upon us. Despite the aberration we're currently experiencing... I believe it!
