Beaner and I just returned from a walk-run mix at the Iowa Fieldhouse.  He put it about three miles.  Meanwhile, Sidetrack and Chalupa are in Des Moines and Ames for a Basketball, Soccer, Basketball tri-fecta. They lost their first basketball game 21 - 9 (Chalupa scored 1/4 of the team's points).  Then she joined her soccer team for an indoor loss 6 - 1.  She was heroic in the net stopping roughly 20 shots on goal...  but heroism or not, it was a merciless drubbing.  She is now on her way back to Des Moines for another AAU basketball match.

Valentine's Day 2009

Tootsie is a great hound. She looks blue on Valentine's Day, but she's not.  Give her credit, her eyes are red.

Big Dawg.  Just being Big Dawg.  He had a great day.  

Best of all, the Peanut, the Birthday Girl, she had a great day.  She's thirteen, what else can she say?

Chalupa and Buzz attended the Lady Hawkeye basketball game this afternoon, and we got our money's worth with a Triple overtime Iowa Victory.
