Mr. B. Dawg wore his woolie-boolie hat to cheer for "West" during a blustery Saturday afternoon football game. The State High School Play-off season is upon us and this was the second meeting between West and cross-town rival, East. The winner would continue in the season-ending tournament. The loser would hang their helmets and pride until next year.
West 23 - East 14
It's all amusing... where friends, family and visitors get up-to-date news, information and comments from Padre, Sidetrack, Beaner, Peanut, Chalupa and Big Dawg. Go F*U*N or go home!

Never Quite Made It
It appears Mr. B. Dawg didn't want to miss any late evening action. So at some point he crawled out of his bed and camped-out in his room doorway. Despite his intentions to be entertained by his sister's final bed-time prepations... he fell victim to his own exhaustion and fell asleep where he lay. What a dork!

Service
As some of you may know, Buzz Daddy (aka The Faker) and Side Track are members of a local service organization, The Optimists. If you are looking to get involved, I encourage you to find out if your community has an Optimist Club. It's a blast.
Anyway, to explain this picture... our club has decided to do some trick-or-treating. There are some children in the Pediatric ward who are unable to go out and trick-or-treat, so we (as a club) decided to bring trick-or-treating to them.
These are the early stages of the neighborhod we are building and plan to take to the community. [from left: Boots, Side Track and Belly Bean]. The best part is that we can decorate these houses for all the seasons of the year and can use then on the 4th-of-July foats just as easy as a Winter wonder land.
Please, if you do anything in your community. Think about the Optimists. If you need info. Email me or comment on this blog. It is highly rewarding, and it's not hard to do if you're having F*U*N!

Chalupa On The Go
Driving home from the final game in a 1- 1 tie, The "Ice" finished their season 5-1-1. During her season's shifts as goalie, the Chalupa only allowed one shot to slip into the tea-bag, otherwise her season was a practical shut out!
Now we shall see how she does as a "cager".
Hey Chalupa! No hanging on the rim!

It's the simple things
Ya know, when Mr. B. Dawg says, "Come on dad! Come on Mom! Come up and play with me!" What's a guy supposed to do?
So we went up and played. Actually, we built a small city with Legos and blocks. In this picture, Mr. B. Dawg is overseeing his Trump-like property whilst the Belly Bean is caring for the entire South Side of town.
Ahhh, the imagination of men and and children. It's all quite simple. It's all very good.

One last hoorah
This will be one of the last, if not the last weekend of mild temperatures. Here is a picture of our backyard sans big, ughly deck!
We took full advantage of the weather to finish clearing out debris from the former deck, timming bushes and preparing for the on-coming winter.
It's taking time and effort more than a few doses of Ibuprophen, but we're getting La Hacienda in shape.

Creepy Angel
So, here is Crazy Pete and Faker at about mile 24 in the Twin Cities Marathon. We have no clue who the creepy angel is on the curb.
If you look closely, you might notice we are actually moving backward on the course. Also notice that Faker has a camera in his left hand and is taking a picture of the person taking this picture. And the person who took this photo is a friend of Sarah's (see blog entry below) who was right next to her when this shot was taken.

Today's Hero
Sarah Storvik (nee: -Crazy - Ylvisaker) is seen at mile 8 during her second successful run at Twin Cities Marathon. Aided, humored and annoyed by Crazy Pete and Buzz Daddy (The Faker) for the entire length of the course, she still managed a PR by about 10 minutes.
There is a reason the Twin Cities Marathon claims to be the most beautiful of urban marathons, and yesterday was no exception with sunny skies and temps starting at 54 degrees. The fall colors of area hard woods were in full display for more than 10,000 runners and fans.
A terrific event and a great place to be a first, or in this case, second-time marathoner. You GO Sarah! You're a champion twice over!!!
